(This includes retirees of the City of Milwaukee Police Department) But, you cannot take the credit if you and your spouse both received a $250. economic recovery payment during 2009. You may have received an economic recovery payment if you received social security benefits, SSI benefits, railroad retirement benefits, or veteran’s disability compensation or pension benefits.
